Ep #59 | Gaga Ooh La La

This week on High-Dere we look at solutions vs. band-aids and as if Marilyn Manson’s music can be considered art. Hint: Yes.

In a time where the world is giving thanks, we take a look at things that are broken about our system, like the Federal Reserve, the band-aids being put on things, like surgeries or medications for a lifetime, and possible solutions to the human illness, such as viewing your own actions as those of a young innocent being.

Through a battle between emotion and logic, we wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving. Let the Holiday Season BEGIN, with this week’s episode of High-Dere.

“I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
-Woodrow Wilson, some time after signing the Federal Reserve Act

Special Thanks to Tara Brach for her concept of conversing with yourself as if you were a 7-year-old.
